The ScaleDRIVE 8x8 Package without Frame is the ideal basis for building a powerful 8x8 chassis in Tamiya® 1:14 scale. The comprehensive assembly package combines all central components for a fully functional four-axle vehicle and allows the construction of a technically sophisticated functional model with maximum traction and realistic driving dynamics.
Genuine 8x8 All-Wheel Drive for Maximum Traction
With two driven front axles and two driven rear axles, a full 8x8 all-wheel drive is created. The integrated pass-through systems ensure uniform power distribution across all axles – ideal for heavy models, construction vehicles, and extreme off-road use.
Optimized for Heavy-Duty & Off-Road
The combination of leaf spring and pendulum suspension allows for high articulation and ensures maximum ground contact even under demanding conditions. In conjunction with the 2-speed gearbox, this results in powerful yet finely controllable driving behavior.
4-Axle Steering for High Maneuverability
The integrated 4-axle steering significantly improves maneuverability and ensures precise steering behavior despite the vehicle size – a crucial advantage in complex driving situations.
Flexible for Various Scales
The package is designed for Tamiya® models in 1:14 scale. For models in 1:14.5 to 1:16 scale, different vehicle concepts can also be realized by using suitable rims.
