The automatic side selection as a conversion kit is the ideal retrofit solution for all 3-axis three-way tippers with a suitable tipping body. It allows for comfortable selection of the desired tipping direction and ensures even more realistic workflows in functional model building.
The conversion kit can be retrofitted to all M-Jet tipping bodies as well as Type 16 tipping bodies of the current series. These can be recognized by the fact that the 2 mm floor plate at the front wall is not flanged. To keep retrofitting costs as low as possible, some existing parts must be adapted during installation. These changes can be easily made with a Dremel.
The side selection is made via a single servo, which is mounted under the tipping body. A free servo channel is required for operation. The main tipping direction remains to the rear. If tipping to the side is desired, the servo is set to the desired tipping direction left or right. At the same time, the corresponding side wall is unlocked. To re-lock, the servo is again set to the tipping direction to the rear.
The required servo is not included in the scope of delivery. We recommend the D-Power DS 870BBMG for this.
