Battery Ordinance

In connection with the sale of devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following in accordance with the Battery Ordinance:

Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end-user, you are legally obliged to properly dispose of used batteries.

After use, you can return batteries free of charge to municipal collection points, retailers, or to us at the address below, or send them back to us by post with sufficient postage.

Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin, similar to the symbol in the image on the right. Below the wheeled bin symbol is the chemical name of the harmful substance - in the example on the left, "Cd" for cadmium. "Pb" stands for lead, "Hg" for mercury.

You will also find these notes again in the accompanying documents of the shipment or in the manufacturer's operating instructions.
