The 3-speed transmission “Duty 8x8” Helical Gear is the consistent further development of proven ScaleART drive technology and was specially designed for powerful 8x8 all-wheel-drive vehicles. With helical gears, a milled housing, and an integrated transfer case, it sets new standards in terms of smooth running, load capacity, and precision.
For many years, ScaleART transmissions and transfer cases have stood for reliability and functionality in demanding functional model building. With Helical Gear Technology, this system has been consistently further developed to achieve even higher performance, efficiency, and driving culture.
Thanks to the helical steel gears, the gears mesh much more smoothly than with straight-cut transmissions. This reduces noise development, improves power transmission, and increases the load capacity of the entire drive system. Multiple teeth are engaged simultaneously, resulting in particularly smooth and wear-resistant power transmission.
The integrated transfer case with a separately lockable center differential ensures controlled and even power distribution to all axles. This guarantees optimal traction even under demanding operating conditions and achieves realistic driving behavior.
The flanged 46-watt motor enables a compact design and efficient power transmission. The entire system was specially developed for use in complex 8x8 chassis and can be integrated in a space-saving manner.
The milled and anodized housing offers significantly higher stability and precision than conventional cast housings. In conjunction with fully ball-bearing mounted shafts and precisely manufactured steel gears, a durable high-performance transmission for the highest demands in functional model building is created.
