+++ 07/2026 +++ MB trac 1800 intercooler +++

With the start of deliveries of the first models, ScaleART is consistently developing the MB trac 1800 intercooler further, while at the same time making a strong statement for sophisticated and uncompromising functional model building. The current innovations are specifically aimed at model builders and collectors who place the highest value on true-to-detail, material quality and functionality.

The MB trac 1800 is equipped with a new sound module and a modern speed controller. As with the full-size original, operation is only possible after the engine – or rather the sound – has been activated.

Another innovation is the stepless volume control via a potentiometer. This allows the sound to be individually adjusted via the COMMANDER remote control or switched off completely if required.

Particular attention has been paid to a realistic representation of mass inertia. The acceleration and braking behavior corresponds to the original and has been scaled proportionally into the control characteristics. To brake quickly, it is therefore necessary to actively move the joystick into the negative range.

In addition, the model features a realistic gear simulation with three forward and two reverse gears, which makes the driving experience even more authentic.

The new tire options in 34 and 38 inches further expand customization. The 34-inch tires consist of multi-part 34" beadlock rims, combined with agricultural tractor tires of dimension 520/70 R34. The 38-inch variant uses 38" beadlock rims with agricultural tractor tires in 650/60 R38 and ensures a particularly powerful appearance as well as improved off-road capabilities.

An essential detail are the three-piece galvanized beadlock rims, which are turned from solid steel and not only impress visually but also offer real added value functionally. Due to their own weight, they contribute significantly to increasing traction and thus support the driving characteristics of the model – especially in demanding terrain.

Another special feature for collectors are the laser-engraved plaques with individual serial numbers. Since the MB trac series is limited to 190 units worldwide, each model receives a uniquely assigned identification. This not only emphasizes exclusivity but also makes each vehicle a verifiably documented unique piece within the series.

A key highlight is the new front loader, which is made entirely of metal. The sturdy construction is mounted directly on the MB trac 1800 using precisely fitting mounting brackets, ensuring exemplary integration. Power is supplied via the front hydraulic connections, enabling seamless operation in conjunction with the vehicle. Equipped with four precisely working hydraulic cylinders, the front loader offers realistic movements and sensitive control. The equipment includes a shovel that can be removed without tools using a quick-change system. In addition, the system proves to be particularly versatile: All attachments already available for the ScaleART UNIMOG front loader can also be used on the MB trac 1800. This opens up a wide range of application possibilities – both in functional operation and with regard to individual equipment variants. With this set-up and the extensions, the MB trac 1800 intercooler once again combines precise model building art with functional technology. The result is a model that meets the highest demands both in use and in the collection and demonstrates its faithfulness to the original down to the smallest detail.
