Robust Construction True to the Original

The body is made of brass sheet and gets its characteristic half-round halfpipe shape by repeatedly bending the side walls and bottom. This construction method corresponds to the full-size original and at the same time ensures high stability with low weight.

A continuous angled profile on both sides, which is soldered to the bottom and side walls, forms a closed box girder and further increases the torsional rigidity of the tipping bridge.
