Driven front axle with 3:1 through-drive with 6-hole Trilex wide front axle wheel set
The axle is made entirely of metal, with 6 to 12 ball bearings and milled steel gears. The driven front axles are equipped with steel constant velocity joints, which are essential for smooth driving behavior in curves.
The axle ratio of all axle variants, chosen based on experience, corresponds to a factor of 3:1.
All axle variants are equipped as standard with a switchable differential lock.
An authentic appearance and absolutely robust technology were the most important criteria in the development and construction of the new ScaleART axles.
Trilex 6-hole narrow wheel set for front axle
For exact concentricity and maximum load capacity of the rims,
we manufactured a special and complex tool. The aluminum rims
themselves are CNC turned and the wheel centers are produced using the zinc die-casting
process. The wheel hubs and clamping rings are milled from aluminum
and black anodized. On request, the wheel centers
can even be painted.
