Auxiliary Gearbox Set for ScaleDRIVE Axles – More Power and Sensitive Control
The ScaleDRIVE auxiliary gearbox set has been specially developed to specifically increase the gear ratio of drive axles and thus significantly improve power delivery. The kit is ideal for demanding functional models on a scale of 1:13 to 1:16 and is particularly suitable for trial applications and Tamiya® trucks with standard motors.
Optimized for ScaleDRIVE Axle Systems
The auxiliary gearbox set is precisely matched to the driven ScaleDRIVE front and rear axles (item no. 74000401 and 74000400). It allows for flexible expansion of the drivetrain and supports complex vehicle concepts with multiple driven axles.
Maximum Gear Ratio for Demanding Applications
By increasing the total gear ratio to up to 5.67:1, power transmission is significantly improved. This ensures sensitive driving behavior at low speeds and maximum control on challenging terrain – ideal for trial vehicles and demanding off-road scenarios.
Flexible Installation Options
The auxiliary gearbox can be mounted with or without a through-drive, offering maximum flexibility when building individual models. The co-rotating through-drive allows for clean integration into existing drive systems.
Robust Construction & Durable Technology
The fiberglass-reinforced plastic housing ensures stability with low weight. All shafts are made of stainless steel and guarantee high load capacity. The 4-fold ball bearing ensures smooth, precise running and minimizes friction losses.
